On 28 and 29 June 2018, the FHNW School of Business hosted the Board meeting and Scientific Committee workshop of the Swiss-ASEAN Learning and Teaching (SALT) association in Olten, Switzerland.
During two intensive days, the participants of the scientific workshop evaluated SALT activities in 2018 and discussed further potential academic cooperation opportunities among SALT member universities. A main focus was the outline of the next Connect-Us Conference.
During the delegation’s stay at FHNW School of Business, two Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) were signed.

The theme of the upcoming conference is digital transformation, specifically its impact on education, business and management, society and ethics, and innovation and technology. The second Connect-Us Conference will take place on October 9 – 10, 2019 in Malaysia and will he hosted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
The meetings of SALT closed with a visit to ETH in Zürich where ETH global discussed possible sources of funding for Southeast Asia.
From 29th to 30th November 2017, the SALT held the 1st Connect-Us Conference and welcomed more than 30 global experts and researchers.
