The SALT Scholarship is a new initiative launched by the Swiss-ASEAN Learning and Teaching Association in cooperation with locals schools, which supports children at elementary, secondary and high school level with individual funding to cover school fees, textbooks and school uniforms. Scholarships, at a value of about CHF 100 each, cover these costs for one year. On April 12, 2018 IM Alumni held their annually event Bid for a Boss at the FHNW Campus in Olten, Switzerland. During the event, nearly CHF 2700 was raised for the SALT Scholarship Programme.
Organised by IM Alumni, Bid for a Boss is a charity event where people volunteer as bosses and offer a special price, e.g. a lunch, visit to a concert, coaching session for students, etc. The audience can bid for their desired price. All money raised will be donated to a charity organisation. The evening is followed by a reception and a speed networking. In case, you have missed the event, you can watch the whole event here.
