Movetia, the Swiss agency for exchange and mobility, has opened the call for 'International intensive programmes for higher education'. The worldwide intensive programmes are short courses, which have to be organised jointly by at least two higher education institutions.
Intensive programmes are carried out between a Swiss higher education institutions and an institution or organisation outside Europe. The consortium defines the options for participation for professors and students (requirements, application, time periods) and is responsible for selecting those taking part. Meaning, the Swiss partner is the main applicant.
The project should generate added value for the institution itself as well as for the Swiss education system, and should correspond with the internationalisation strategy of the institutions taking part. The intensive programme applied for should be innovative and balanced in terms of content, for example, with regard to the learning opportunities or method, access to information, development of competence or its interdisciplinary nature. The planned place of execution for the IP must be in Switzerland or in a country taking part in the IP.
| Deadline for submission of the project outline | 31 January 2020 |
| Deadline for submission of the application following qualification decision | 31 May 2020 |
